Grand Rapids Bee School 2027

Grand Rapids Bee School is an annual educational event designed to support beekeepers at all stages of their journey—from those just getting started to experienced keepers looking to deepen their knowledge. Hosted by Grand Rapids Community College Secchia Institute for Culinary Education and the Grand Rapids Area Bee Club, our Bee School brings together regional experts, researchers, and local beekeepers for a full day of practical learning, community connection, and hands-on insights into bee biology, hive management, seasonal practices, and pollinator health. With three learning tracks, local vendors, great food, and opportunities to network with fellow beekeepers or bee-passionate people, Bee School provides a welcoming space to build skills, ask questions, and grow confidence heading into the beekeeping season.
